The tag shown in this tut was made using PSP XI but you should be able to do this tut using any version of PSP.

What you'll Need:

PSP

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow (optional)

Font of choice

Camera Tube, Polaroid Tube & Frame of choice. I cannot supply these.

2 photos of your choice, I suggest going to Stock Xchng

Cat Tube of your choice, mine is a photo I tubed of my own cat Cleo :)

This tutorial is easy enough to do and it has a nice effect. So lets get started...

1. Open a new transparent layer 600x600, copy all the tubes and paste each as a new layer on your blank canvas.

2. Now X out all your tube layers on your pallette, except for the polaroid one. Make sure its highlighted then with your magic wand click inside all of the black areas of the polaroid so you have 3 sets of marching ants.

3. Open your flower photos in PSP, chose the one you'd like to use on your polaroids first and copy it, then paste as a new layer. Drag your photo so it's inside all the marching ants and then Selections - Invert then hit Delete but DO make sure you have your flower photo highlighted in your layer palette before you hit delete! :) Selections- Select None.

4. Now you flower photo is 'inside' your polaroid, now using your Freehand Selection Tool on Point to Point, very carefully go around the coloured parts of your flower. Once you've done that, with your coloured parts still with marching ants goto Selections - Invert then Adjust - Hue & Saturation with the settings both on 0 then click OK - now you can deselect.

5. Looking good so far huh? :) Now in your layer pallette Merge - Merge Visible and X out your flower polaroid layer and unX your frame layer, Now we're going to do the same with the frame layer & your next photo. So, with your magic wand click inside your frame layer, then goto Selections - Modify - Expand by 5 then with the marching ants there, copy & paste your next photo as a new layer and postition it in your frame layer then once its lined up, goto Selections - Invert then hit delete. Selections- Select None.

6. As before using your Freehand Selection Tool on Point to Point, very carefully go around the coloured parts of your flower. Once you've done that, with your coloured parts still with marching ants goto Selections - Invert then Adjust - Hue & Saturation with the settings both on 0 then click OK - now you can deselect. Then in your layer pallette Merge - Merge Visible.

7. Now UnX out all your layers and with your polaroid layer highlighted, Resize to about 55% and move the layer to the bottom left of your frame layer (like mine) then resize the camera layer to 65% and move it so its sitting on top of the frame and resize your cat tube if you wish and move it where it looks best.

8. I went around my cat layer with Gradient Glow but you don't have to if you don't want to. If you do then make the settings as below:

Glow Width - 3.00

Soft Corners - 25

Opacity -100

Color - Thin

I applied this twice on mine, changing the colour from white to black each time.

9. Now is the time to add any copyright info and your watermark if you want. Then add your name using whatever font you wish, I used Sketch Rockwell - size 72 and added a Gradient Glow.

10. Now all you have to do is Merge - Merge Visible and add a drop shadow with the settings as follows:

V & H - 1

Opacity - 83

Blur - 6.00

Color - Black

and then you are all done! Save as a .png file - well done! x ♥
