I decided to start up and run VW Groups as a part-time business in 2008.
I'm still in full time employment at a Dealership, so just run it at weekends mainly.
I started off my years with VW/Audi in 1990 when I left school at 16 and went into a apprenticeship with my local dealer, while I was there I started doing my City & Guilds on day release. Sadly the dealership closed to relocate to inner london.
I then moved to a VW/Audi Specialist garage, where I was able to complete all my City & Guilds qualifications and gain some valuable experience working on the VW/Audi range.
But in 1995 I was offered the opportunity to join another VW/Audi dealership, which I took. There, I was made a Sole Audi Technician in 1998 when the brands seperated dealer sites, I then carried out extensive training and became a Audi reporting Technician, and a M.O.T quality control tester.
In 2004 I was offered a place at a brand new purpose built SEAT dealer as a Reporting Tecnician, which I accepted.
I have since rejoined Audi at another Dealership as a Service/Specialist diag technician.
